According my buddy, that owns Wicked Racing in OC.. He recommends changing the oil at 3k. He also says hes seen better performing engines when ran hard from 1k to 5k. Something about oil pressure...... forgot lmao.
And there is no such thing as break in oil. The oil in your motor is the same stuff found on hundreds of store shelfs.

I would say 30-45 mins.

There is no such thing as break in oil. If a manufacturer wants their cars to run longer on the same oil from the factory, so be it. Maybe their philosophy about it is all the parts internally generate shavings. Its possible they want those shavings to "hone" the valvetrain and such.
