Yeah, I tried to break open the foglamp housing but it was sealed by something different. I settled for the subtle red cover on the fogs instead.

Looking great, you need to get you a CBE so youve got something a little beefier than that pea shooter coming out the back lol

Are the red lights in the headlight housings legal in Philippines?

Hmm... hard to say. I've seen the list of violations for the metro, and there is something mentioned about having bright red lights (but with my HIDs, you'd hardly see the red unless you're up close)... and I've tailed police cars and passed by metro traffic cops at night and have never been flagged down yet. (Plus it's only a $2 fine...)

I love it! It looks waxed? Have you waxed it? I love the headlights. Looks MEAN.

It was waxed, and had it cleaned the day before we went on that trip. But I think PS cleaned it up too much. (Topaz plugin)

For ~$600, why buy a 'universal' part? Why not get something like a CPE standback that is made and mapped specifically for your car?

I only have the 1.6l engine, plus www.speedlab.com.ph is a local tuning shop that has tuned many mazda3s already and knowns the unichip inside and out
for our engine so it's a good match.

The holder is to be able to use a glass plate, it tilting or not is adjustable. It just so happens it is widely used here and as long as it's not colored glass, etc, the police don't mind. Plus this is driven around the metro 99% of the time, where cops look out more for actual traffic violation than having an obscured plate.
