First off let me say I am not in any way a mechanic and this is my first car so I’m learning the hard way. I have an automatic 2016 Mazda 3, on the master cylinder there’s a tube/nipple on the right side that my brake fluid is leaking from. I put in a rather large sum of brake fluid before looking down at my feet and realizing that it was all going on the ground. Can anyone help? Is a cap or hose supposed to go here?

i assume that is for the clutch master cylinder if manual transmission
confirmed with this video at around 3:35 time stamp

so if you have an automatic transmission on that car, put a cap on that nipple.

you can goto your local autoparts store and actually use the master cylinder on their shelf to get the correct cap for it if you can find where that popped off
