That was sweet!!!

But it just goes to show you that drifting a car doesn't make it go around faster in corners... as the camera car keeps up just fine.

The chase car kept up fine, but they also weren't racing. The sliding driver was probably taking it easy relative to what he would have done on a racetrack (which would be wider and not have a ditch on each side). Example: there's no way a driver could put down serious times in dirt track racing without backing the car into every turn.

Pretty weak. I saw a guy on a Best Motoring DVD (it was Tsuchiya, I think?) drifting an M3 in the rain. Now THAT was hardcore.

Well, not necessarily. I little bit of understeer can be benefical in racing.
