Being that they are a Michelin based produt, I rarely have issues when it comes to warranty. About the only thing they will not cover/offer is a mileage warranty. Just make sure you buy from a reputable dealer as it is easier to go through them if there is an issue.

keep in mind that no local dealers will want to help you if you have a tire related problem when they were bought online.

That's why I'm buying my new tires at a local place (Discount Tire), so I know if anything arises, they're only down the street.

No Discount Tires around? Hell man, there are 2 up here, there has to be some down there. And from what I've heard (going to put them to the test about it tomorrow), if you find a competitor with a cheaper price of the same tire, they'll match it.

well, if anything, they will beat the total price for sure, once you consider mail order requires you to pay for shipping and most places charge you more for mounting and balancing if you bring in your own tires.

that certainly changes things a bit, I'd be more inclined to do the mail order thing in that case. . .
