What are the best sticky tires that grip the road very well?

What about the RE11? Supposed to kill the RE-01R isn't it?

Otherwise:
Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec

I need a tire that fits the orginal size of the factory tire. I dont think thoses tires are.

You know tires come in different sizes right? :roll:

All the tires listed come in 215/45R17, which will fit great.

Then you're severely limiting your choices. That is not a popular size and many of the better tires don't come in it.

If that was the only size you wanted, why not mention it in the original post?

You were the guy asking about racing beat springs for auto-x/track. If you are doing auto-x primarily I would definitely suggest the 215/45/17 for better gearing and the benefits everyone else mentioned.

is 45 the width an how much % would it be off from the speedometer

Are the 215/45-17's a drop in replacement for the stock 205/50-17's? They're ok on the 6.5" rim and I don't need to mess with offset or anything right?
