Best all-season tires in $80-100 range?

Will the ASX's tread last longer than the Falkin 512s? I'm looking for some middle ground between long lasting and performance... leaning slightly more towards long lasting since I don't want to have to replace the tires every 2 years if I can avoid it.

WTF? The 512's that i just bought have a 360 treadwear rating? what the heck are you looking for a 500? jeez
here are the 512's for $62. not sure where you live but to my house it costs $42 to ship them.

Well the Exalto A/S are rated for 45k I believe (mfr warranty), but they're a bit too pricey. So I thought maybe something in the middle would be similar. Sorry, I'm a but uneducated in this area if you couldn't tell

I have to say I've been pleased with the ASX's for the short while I've had them. They grip at least as well during cornering as the stockers in dry conditions. Also, we got our first taste of inclement weather today; and while most of the snow/slush was gone by the time I left work, I did hit some of that crusty ice that accumulates on lesser-used streets. They felt pretty sure-footed when things got slippery, especially compared to the RSAs. Not saying much, I know... but still, for the price they seem to be a pretty good set of all-seasons.
I got the Yokohama YK520 from America Tire company (also known as Discount tire co.). It was the only tire I found which was VR rated and had a 60,000 mile warranty.
Handles well, and I'm very happy with them. BTW, I'm just driving 'normally', not autocrossing or racing with it...

Read the reviews from Discount tires, most users UNDERINFLATE their tires & then complain about tread wear. This goes for all brands.
CR rated the thing #3 even though they underinflate it.
If you want treadlife, get a touring tire. Cause you're not going to get much past 30k in any HP tire.

I got 16k on my RS-A' sand they are wearing down. I wouldnt drive them in the snow at all but they are still fine for dry roads and rain. Im contemplating buying new tires now or getting more use out of these. I think if I stay out of the snow I can go until summer until I get new tires.
