So I purchased bearings for my Mazda3 2005 on ebay. They are too small they wobble around in the spindle there is so much room. Confused I went to autozone thinking I was screwed over by the ebay seller. But their bearings did the same thing. Anyone have an idea which bearings actually fit? Preferably something sold by Oreilly's, Advanced or Autozone so I can finish this project up.

The 2004/2005 have a one piece hub/bearing set. You can't change just the bearings by themselves, you have to change the whole thing.

I just did my 2004, and I used TIMKEN part number HA590097.

Also, don't forget to get new axle bolts. Those are a one use only item. They are Mazda part number 9YA0-21-083F. Correct torque setting is go to 25 ft. lbs, then go a further quarter turn.

I can't stress enough the importance of NOT re-using axle bolts. It may be a hassle to get one but please do get one. We don't want your assembly separating due to a worn bolt. Better safe than sorry guys :)
