I was wondering about the air scoop for the battery, is it needed? Will the Air flow sensor for the SRI get more air, therefore increasing power if i took it out?

I'm not exactly sure but I left mine out. I didn't think it would make much of a difference.

I left mine off after my SRI install, but I left the battery cover that was helping to hold it on.

if you take the battery cover off, you deff don't need the vent. If you don't have the vent, you can prob get away with leaving the cover on but I would just take it off if you dont want the vent in.

The deed is done. Phew, I needed a quick mod to do to hold myself over, this stuff is addicting. Next step, header.
