I was wondering about the air scoop for the battery, is it needed? Will the Air flow sensor for the SRI get more air, therefore increasing power if i took it out?

I'm not exactly sure but I left mine out. I didn't think it would make much of a difference.

I don't think it is needed... The new 2010 mz3 do not have one...

I left mine off after my SRI install, but I left the battery cover that was helping to hold it on.

So keep batt cover on and flow scoop off? Or both off?

The deed is done. Phew, I needed a quick mod to do to hold myself over, this stuff is addicting. Next step, header.
