140.9 Peak FWHP @ 6200RPM
134.8 Peak lb-ft @ 5000RPM

Torque is very flat, staying above 130 lb-ft from 3400-5600RPM!

How much low end can you expect from a 2.3? A CAI should help a lot with low end torque though if thats what you want. Very good numbers too less then a 15% loss in the drivetrain thats great news!

those are pretty good numbers, that's less than 20% loss, the se-r with 170hp makes on the dyno about the same number.

It makes 120.8 lb-ft @ 2300RPM, not bad low end torque from a 4 cylinder.

Even at 1500 it makes 107 lb-ft

When I had my Focus I had abudy with an automatic Focus. We used to race whenever he got a new mod (mine was sock).

He got an Injen intake - I beat him
He got a Borla exhaust - I beat him
He got a header (don't remember the brand) - I beat hm
He got underdrive pulleys - I beat him.

Finally he got rid of the Slushbox and got a Focus SVT, I didn;t bother trying

All those mods couldn't make an Automatic Focus ZX3 beat a Manual Focus ZX3.

Well you should try dropping 800.00 on a intake, header, flex-pipe and an off-rode pipe only to get a exhaust note that sounds like a pissed off bee. Took that stuff off fast sold it and saved for the Mazda3.

For sure, the torque converter will rob at least 10Hp

- So where's the dyno graph? I would be interesting is seeing the auto numbers. I highly doubt the loss is 28-30%. Thats asinine. In fact the loss is between 18-20%.
