Im gunna be putting the AXELA badge on my car things i was wondering

1 - Should it be MAZDA on one side and AXELA on the other? or just say AXELA (not talking about what looks better talking about how it should be)

2 - will the AXELA badge cover up the holes left by the MAZDA badge?

It should be however you want it to be. Yes, the Axela badge will cover the Mazda badge holes.

if you want it JDM(how it comes in japan) then...

-put the "AXELA" badge on the other side of the hatch

I am rather curious why he removed the keyhole but didn't debadge....I mean if you're going to do one, why not go all the way?

U.S. Hatches don't have keyholes to start with.

That is a special edition hatch. Notice the chrome door handles? It's much like the SP2.3 that we had some years back. I believe this car can be had in Australia also.

08.5 + Canadian GT's have chrome door handles. Some trim levels in Canada do not have side moldings either. Very inconsistant Mazda is.
