Hey.

Since I have been perusing this forum the last few weeks the style of postings here has been complete garbage. Some posts youhave to sift through pages of pissing contests between ricers and bashers to find anything worth while in these posts.

All you MT drivers who are bashing the AT guys in the context that they should burn thier cars or get a prius (WTF?) you need to realliy take a deep breath of reality here. Not everyone is building a top fuel dragster out of thier 3...

Not everyone here is a Ricer who races and goes 100Mph through traffic everyday. Some of us have bought the car for its handling and for the performance it gives , even at the AT level. I have received flames and bashes since joining and not owning a MT . Well, blow me. Simple. I came here to discuss my car, future upgrades, and to post stats for the AT. Not to have some little muppet who still drives daddy's civic telling me I should burn my car and its shit. Thats just annoying, no one wants that. I am sorry for being upset but I have had it. This was the last straw.

All you AT bashers are just a bunch of retards.

Most of you here bashing dont even own a fu*in M3 as well. You can tell by the posts. You have to keep in mind not everyone here Races and speeds on the roads putting other people at risk. Not everyone wants to wear down thier car at the track every week end too. Some of us have faster cars with sticks in em and like the ride of the 3 for daily traffic driving with the odd performnce run. For me its a shared vehicle in our yard and the AT matched the style of driving it is used for. That is Day to Day. You still get good performce from the AT if you know what your doing and where the torque bands are. I am a very good, experience driver and although I fully understand the conversion loss ect, I really dont give a shit. Period. Its just fine the way it is. Its not a ferrari...

I have to say I am bowing out of this forum once and for all. Not that anyone here gives a rats ass, I dont own a 5speed

Automatic transmissions are certainly not horrible things.

Having said that, I have to say that it's sad but if you're going to hang out on public forums a certain amount of thickness of the skin and some grains of salt are required.

There will always be jackasses out there, but for what it's worth I advise that you concentrate on the constructive stuff and let the BS roll off your back.

IMHO, I find this to be one of the nicer Mazda 3 forums out there. There isn't a lot of immaturity here, just some, and it's generally easy to ignore. This is also one of the few work friendly boards as there aren't any users with sexual avatars or tags. Sorry to all the guys out there who like having sexy chicks for avatars and tags, but it makes it easier for all us other guys who view the board from work.

And where ever you go, take a chill-pill with every post you think that bashes on you. Frankly, why should you give a flying rat's ass when the person behind the screen name doesn't even know you? And you don't know them? There's enough room on this forum that you can generally seperate yourself from the "bashers & haters" when you want to.

I hope I am not one of the people you were thinking of when it comes to bashing auto's if I said anything that pissed you off I apologize...however this is an extremely mild message board and all of us here should be able to laugh anything off. If an internet message board can piss you off this much then I would like to see how much of a snap you are in real life.

I also find this forum to be one of the most visited by a large number of regulars. There are a few people in a every forum that will bash anyone that doesn't agree with them. I usually bow out of those threads and find something else to talk about. Other than that, most people in this forum may be passionate about their cars, but what they say is their opinion and is not meant to be taken to heart. They don't mean any personal by it either, like I said, just their opinion. A forum is one of the places you should be able to share your opinion and defend it no matter how extroverted or introverted you are.

I drive a manual and I prefer a manual, but I as well as many other people in this forum have no problem with automatics, we just feel good with our manuals. I appreciate automatic transmissions because with all of the trophy wives in my neighborhood that have trouble keeping their eyes on the road with an automatic, I would hate to see the damage they could do with a manual transmission. :shock: :lol:

Honestly I have no ide what you are talking about, though I'm certianly no fan of the slushbox (as evidinced by my referring to it as a "slushbox") and I may well be one of the "retards" you are talking about.

Based on your little tirade above and the level of participation you have in the forums (practically none) I'd say you're probably right and that pretty much nobody "gives a rats ass" if you get sand in your vagina and leave in a huff.

In short, I can only speak for myself but don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Ditto.. Too much generalization because of age. For the record, Im 23 and I financed my car.... must be nice to have parents do it for ya.

As for the slushbox, everyone knows, they rob power. And sorry, Im not that lazy to shift my own gears. The category that the 3 falls under isnt Luxury, its Sport Compact. Now if I was driving a Caddy, you damn right it would be an Auto.

I'm not going to fire back any insults, I am beyond that fortunatly. But you can see who the trolls are and it just solidify's my point. I can go through threads to prove my points Ratchison, but I am not going to bother. I would rather just leave.
