Wanted to get your input on this. I don't believe anyone has this? (I used the search, so shut up! ) I'm kinda iffy on universal exhaust systems but...
Is this bigger than HKS? How many inches is this? (I don't know how to convert mm to inches).

115 mm is 4.5 inches, and 85 mm is 3.25-3.5 inches. I dunno why it would say two different tip sizes though, that's kind of weird.

i wasn't aware apexi made an exhaust for the 3. as such, tread lightly. maybe call them first to verify.

some sights list piping while the apex'i website only lists the muffler as universal titanium, and they don't even have the 3 as an application they support. even the site you gave still says "universal". how can it be universal and still be made to fit?

because it can just be welded/clamped on...thus universal......they arent going to list every single car in the world...just the ones they make kits for....

I was just looking at this exhaust and the pipe on that one is only 2.4 inches. The one above is made for a turbo since its over 3 in. I was reading and the tip size its so big because: Exhaust gas exits through a 115mm heat treated tip which can be extended or retracted to meet the dimensions of the rear bumper. There are 5 levels of length adjustments, designed to meet the needs of the car enthusiasts with aero kits installed.

u have the tip size and then the smaller one is the inlet, where the actual pipin of the exhaust connects.

thats a lot for a muffler/tip
