#1 - You need to complete your profile. We can't answer w/out that info (if you're in Antarctica, knowing US lease prices won't help, right?)

#2 - Welcome! :)

Also, this is what I was just quoted for a Mz3s hatchback with all the pakcages including leather, Nav, abs and so on. 4 year 60000 miles no money down 357 a month including taxes. So is this a good price? Thanks

Use mazdausa.com and try to get something b/w 4-8% off the price quoted. That's what I would consider a starting point. Then, depending on the demand for the 3 and the allocation, you should see if you should aim for the 4% off or the 8% off...

lease deal

sounds terrible. you can lease a Lexus IS300 for $399 down, $399 per month for 45 months. The IS is a $35k car.

Yes but your price is in USD, mine is in CAD, and how much of a cash down do you have to give in order to get you payments that low.

Just a guess, but I think $399

IS300's is nice, Sport Design is even cooler.
Someone from Canada should be able to help you out with the conversion to tell you if it's a "good" deal. From what i've been told, credit has alot to do with leasing since there is no money up front. My case, i put down 10k, so i got a good rate for financing the rest.

Best of luck to you.

There's no way. Any "high end" leased car I've ever seen always requires a hefty downpayment ($2-4K).

FYI - 387 Canadian is 291 USD... http://www.xe.com/ucc/

ok...so i finally got my mazda 3 sport, but in the end, between the dealer and my fathers advice ended up leasing the veichle. what i got:

GT sport red lava, AT, AC, tinting, and Their plan that allows you to return the car with up to 3500$ in damages (600$ tax in) no questions asked. That can be used for scratches, dented bumpers, bald tires...pretty much anythin i asked. I then scratched the 3m coating off the list cuz they would pay for the stone chips and things.

I opted for the 36mo lease, with 5850 down, minus the graduate rebate, for 363/month. Buy out at around 14500+taxes.

What do you think?

And oh yeah, got them to throw in 10 oil changes!

The math...398x48=19104 buyout 11650 TOTAL 30754

...363x36+5850-600=18318 buyout 14100 TOTAL 32418

The totals are alittle off cuz i didnt calculate the taxes on the buyout (15%)
but its under 2000$ different...and if i dont buy the car, i pay less for the lease and get a new car in 3 years instead of 4. Plus, i think i got more options with my car than the person leasing for 398?? ATvs manual, moon?, tints and care package (1000$) and 10 free oil changes

Oh well, im ok with the price...but i should really stop looking

and if you think about it. From the 5850 down, take away 600 for the graduate rebate, and 250 for the oil changes your left with 5000. Divide by 36 and you have 139$ plus 363 and its 502/month, for 36 months

The reason the leasing numbers on the MZ3 are a bit off base is due to the lack of MFG lease support.

Anytime you see a rather pricey car with a low lease number its beacuse the MFG has "enhanced" the lease by bumping the residual or buying down the money factor. They do this to help move units.

Since the MZ3 is selling without rebates, I doubt mazda will pay the money to enhance residuals or buy down money factors.
