My dealer gave me a $#i++y price for my car ($600 CDN below MSRP) to make up for it, he's throwing the Rim Locks, 2 free oil changes, 2 free tanks of fuel and the premium floor mats. I'll take pictures when I get the car... Donno when the hell that's going to be tho...

Make sure the All Weather Mats you get have the hole for the retention peg in the proper spot. Some people have bought these mats only to find out that the hole was on the wrong side.

The "All Weather" name is kind of misleading. From what I saw the mats didn't have any deep grooves that would collect water or snow like true "all weather" mats - because of that I wouldn't use them in the winter, strictly spring, summer and fall.

Re: Anyone have the Premium Mazda 3 mats or the All Weathers

I'm considering upgrading from the standard carpet mats that come with the 3S (US). Anyone with any experience with these mats please comment. Thanks.
my dealer put mine in with the car free of charge. however, although i only put the all weather floormat on my front driver side(all other places has two, premium at the buttom and all weather on the top of it.) i still found that i produces noise whenever i press my clutch all the way down and release when shifting. maybe i should change my clutching habbit? man, that's just hard when you don't have a certain point and knowing how much you should release....

other than that, the all weather floormat is real great.
to Bluntman, my all weather floormat has deep grooves in order to collect water, sand, stones. maybe it's because i am living in houston, tx so i still have not tried the "true weather" out of my door?

i got the all weather mats today from the dealer and they notch thing is in the wrong spot that kinda pissed me off, and its not really that good of material, its more plasticy then rubbery. ive got the mats that came with the car underneath all the all weathers. on the drivers part the peg hole is in the wrong spot. is that a defect? i think all of them have that. anyways the mats say mazda3 on tehym so i doubt theyre for the wrong car. can anyone explain? also the grooves are like little indented bubble pockets, and they seem pretty spaced apart, its not like deep groove channels everywhere like what i expected, oh well if i dont like them ill just take them out and keep the black carpet mats that it came with
i dont mind them tho

The peg will pivot, I'm not sure what that will do to the mat. Maybe someone with the all-weather mat can try it out for us?
I wouldn't say that it works well. I have the all weathers. If I pivot the peg, it pulls the mats too far back (towards the rear of the car) and bunches up. I just put the mat underneath the peg. I think I might have a new peg made... possibly.

I have the all weathers, and the metal peg shouldnt be used! The all weathers include a plastic peg that digs into the carpet. Thats the one that should be used. I have no problems with the clutch hitting the mat or anything :)

It comes with "one" plastic peg? I don't get it. It seems strange since the driver's side mat has a hole for the metal hook.

Floor Mats are a waste....can anyone relate?

:x I spent over $100 canadian for these all weather floor mats to figure out that they were garbage. First of all, as someone mentioned on this forum, there are no deep grooves for snow and water to sit. Not well designed. Also, the mat slides because the hook holding it is poor. I have to go back to my dealer and see what I can do. The hook pops out holding the mat and it slides up. When it slides up it gets stuck when I press down the clutch. very poor design mats. Why didn't they blot it down with 2 hooks instead of a dinky one.

Can anyone help me out with this?

I called Mazda Canada asking about the problem with the misaligned hole in the All-Weather mats. They were aware of the problem and have "suspended" the part number for the mats. I asked when the new, corrected mats would be available but the CSR didn't know.

I've got the blue/black premium mats, they match the blue/black seats perfectly in my WB hatch. MUCH better than the stock flat black and way more attractive thatn the all weather mats.

mats

bluntman...i also called mazda canada. they told me that there is indeed a problem and that there are clips that are being released to fix the problem. check back with your dealer or give mazda canada a call and ask them about the clips.
