Since the 2005 Mazda 3 S I bought did not come with the factory wing (just the lip), I wanted to purchase the factory wing from an OEM maker/seller. I had been looking into spoilersmart.com for my ZX2 before I sold her. Anyone purchase from here before and did or did not have a good experience? Sorry of this is a repost. They are charging $99 including shipping for them, which is a crazy good price, already primed.

I can't speak for spoilersmart.com, but I can speak for the quality of the rburns spoilers, as can a number of other forum members:

$114 for the raised spoiler shipped and painted. Paint quality was great and matched my factory Winning Blue perfectly. In fact, the paint job on the spoiler seems to be of higher quality on the rest of the car...

bearda thanks man. Factory painted is a very good thing... as long as they still do winning blue ;-). When did you get yours, because obviously Mazda discontinued that color. And wow you are in Germantown... our company has a all-hands meeting two times a year at Black Rock Center in Germantown. I work in Rockville.

I got mine last summer, just about the time the 2007s were coming out. They still list the Winning Blue color code on the auction description (27B), but if you're not sure shoot them an email. They were pretty responsive with my questions when I bought mine.

I don't know if I'd describe them as factory painted. Honestly I don't know if they're using factory paint or not, just that it matches the factory paint perfectly. I can just vouch that they did a good job, not how they did it.

I actually live toward the south end of Germantown, but work about 2 minutes away from the Black Rock Center (not far off Father Hurley).

I would assume they still have to paint other cars (eg. that have been in an accident) the 04-06 colors... So why wouldn't they have Winning Blue?

because the same thing happened when the body shop tried matching the color of my wings west body kit to the Orange Ford ZX2 I had. They couldn't find the paint to match exactly anywhere. The car was only 4 years old. That's why i'm asking.

oh, no my 3 didn't come with the factory spoiler. No holes, which makes this process much easier. My ZX2 did and i'm sure you know... that son of a gun has 6 holes for the stock wing! That was fun filling those holes up when i replaced it with the stock celica wing. ahh good times.
