I have Falken Ziex's on my Miata, love them, had them for like 2 years and they still look brand new, grip well, good price, I have no complaints about them

Alright, cool. I'm just looking to get something cheap that'll allow me to have enough money for the rims, lol, if they shit out on me, so be it. I can buy new tires in the summer when I've got more money

i Agree, Falken Ziex's are great all-season tires. But there tread is much better for rain than it is for snow.
Those Hankook's definatly dont look like an all-season tread...

If your looking for allseasons to finish out the winter its a waste of effort, unless your getting another set of wheels, cause switching tires can be a pain and cost 40per wheel to mount depending on if you know someone.

I say forget about both of those tires. Save your money and tough it out for the last few weeks of this winter, get FALKEN AZENIS for spring thu fall, and then when next winter comes around start looking for all-seasons, or winter tires for the late fall & winter.

It all depends on your situation though, describe it more than "i need cheap tires" and we should have some better advice.

I'm in Florida, there isn't such thing as all seasons. We have wet, and dry, lol. Not to mention I'll be home, with a shop who I'm good friends with the owner, so mounting and balancing won't be expensive at all.

A good friend of mine has the Ziex's, and said they pwn in the rain. Which will come in handy, now that it's getting to be that time of the year.

I've milked the RS-A's for a little over 22k, but I probably should have changed them about 7k ago, lol

Yeah I put on the Goodrich G forces at about 20k (at 25k now) Been really happy compared to the RSA's those things were scary on I95 in the rain. One thing ive noticed is the right side is wearing slightly faster, hmm. Must have some to do with the differential.

Yeah, I hydroplaned with the RS-A's the other day on I-10 on the way back to Tally,, so I said that's that and am now hurrying to get some, lol

Of course. I'm not sure when I'll be ordering them, but hopefully it'll be soon (my goal is to have them on by next Friday). Anyone know where the cheapest place to mount and balance is?

My hopes are to just sport 'em for a few months, if that, and buy better ones (unless I really like them). I'm considering getting the Hankooks since they are cheaper, but they probably won't last long.

If you don't see any snow, stick with Summer tires that also evac water well.

Wet performance is mutually EXCLUSIVE of snow performance.
ie moving water is not condusive to moving snow.
