Avoid:

Morningside: The sales dept treats ppl like $#!T. Not sure how svc is.
Prima: They add-on rust proofing and ScothGuard to their cars and force you to buy it.
Scarboro: They're shaddy and can't give you a good deal b/c they're not as high volume as...

Recommend:

Avante Toronto: Great sales staff and service!!! Talk to Eddie (Sales Manager) if possible. He's a great guy (no BS, up front and professional)

dinu is right about Scarboro Mazda. they are shady
i was close to closing a deal with them yesterday, but at last minute
they kept adding on new prices, and kept changing the final figure that we had already agreed upon.

i had planned to purchase yesterday, but its back to the drawing board. i'll probably go to avante mazda

TMMA: how much was your car msrp, discount if any.....which salesman did you talk to??

thanks in advance
MSRP for my car is $24085+++ (sport GT MT with A/C, sunroof+leather).
The salesman is called Rayman Lo. Since I had a car to trade in, so I mostly bargain the price with him on the trade in car, but not the new car. The only discount I got from was the graduate rebate program ($600).

I bought from Ajax Mazda and they were amazing!! i have bought new cars before and i am a tough judge of the service industry and they are treating me like gold.
I hate that feeling you get at some dealers that you might not be getting a good deal or that they are trying to get inside your head. Ajax explained his pricing and there costs, showed me the invoice which i already had a rough idea on, they threw in a few things and met me halfway on some other big stuff stuff. When it came time for the Extended warranty/ undercoating speech, they just asked if i was interested, i just said no and she was cool about it and carried on no questions.. I liked that

Brad Rawlinson is the sales manager and i dealt with him and the business manager Donna

My Brother appreciated the lovely ladies that work at reception !!

I bought my 2004 Mazda 6 and my wife's 2002 P5 from Avante of Toronto and couldn't be happier with the service. The salesman were all nice and gave us good deals, and so far the service has been excellent. No experience with the one in Richmond Hill, though I've heard they are just as good.

Good luck.

Did NOT like Markham Mazda

Ended up buying from Cars4U.com which uses Erin Mills Mazda... Very happy there.

Avante Mazda... Excellent sales and service... Upfront discount in the $400 range.

Markham Mazda... Ugh... bad experience with 2 sales man on 2 different occasions. 1) They lied about having GT in stock to even demo (over the phone they had several for immediate delivery... no mistake about it and the salesman didn't mention anything until we were sitting in the car) 2) They seemed kinda slimy.

Personal opinions... but I ran from them and vowed never to return.

I've just (today) purchased my 3 (GS Sedan Tit Gray +a/c +PP) from Gyro. It will be here in 4 weeks. They were decent to deal with. I had pre negotiated a deal through APA.ca. It worked out to CDN600 below MSRP. Gryo were OK with this and didn't try to add other unwanted charges. I would recommend them. We dealt with Mike.

Bought Back in November in brampton and had a great experience. Those guys really move on price. Costed out two other locations, dixie (waste of time) and erinmills mazda also a waste of time. Highly recomend mazda of brampton, great service and great looking ladies that work there.

I'm looking at more or less the same car (plus sport package, I want the sunroof!) in black. When I went in a couple weeks ago, they quoted MSRP, it's good to know how much lower they would go for sure.. I'll probably purchase in a few months (May-ish), so hopefully I'll be able to get a better deal by then..
