Whenever I accelerate and coast the rear of the car makes a rattling sound ? I see this is a common issue with the Mazda 3 but has anyone ever solved this issue.
Is it the sway bar links or springs ? I have new shocks in the rear and my car is 2005 Mazda 3i
What exactly do i have to buy?

I just swapped my endlinks (sway bar links) out, noise gone. Most of the autoparts places keep them in stock. You just need the tools and the endlinks.

I have #1 in my car. Only rattles when I'm driving over certain road types at speed and the vibration happens to sync up. Was thinking of trying to stuff a bit of cloth in there to pad it, but it hasn't annoyed me to the point where I've gotten around to trying that.
Could be broken spring or shock mount. Very common issues

2008 M3i here, hatchback, having the same issues. I have put it on the lift and checked everything. Other than needing new bushings, nothing else is loose or needs replacing.

Glad in a way im not alone on this issue as it seems its not serious. Going to add new bushings this week and see if the sound changes.
