I had amazing time at the track on saturday march 17th.... my MSP3 is still stock and i have not added anything besides the turbo timer.... but i went to rockingham drag strip in NC and about the third time out i had a amazing time of 13.956 at 101 mph... i ran about 15 times and the first 2 wasnt that good i had traction control off and i could not hook it at all. when i would go to second it wheel hoped so bad it came out of gear. but the third time i left traction control on and i ran a 13.9 i was very amazed.. but the worst was a 14.7 when i was spinning and the i was doing 14 flat to 14.5 i ran 13.9 twice.. has any one else ran there MSP3 yet that had that good of time??

wow congrats...with the dsc on? hmm interesting.

a few have reported 13.9...that red mps in aussie land.

but i dont think any in the us. props to you!
btw what were your 60 foot times and trap speeds?
Congrats!! Yeah only the aussie dude got a 13.9 and that was on video. Nice trap at 101 too! It's funny that DSC on actually helped you that much, just shows how much wheelspin can kill the time. Do you have the timeslip? And if so, can you post it?
very nice times, there have been others to break into the 13's stock, but not many, so its a small crowd you are among
yes i have the slips they are out in the car i will post tomorow... i could only get it once but i got it... the closest that i got to it again was 14 flat
just curious, how were you launching the car? ie. what RPM, how was the clutch controlled and such?
Using my friends GTech pro RR with just the intake and race pipe I was getting rough 13.68-13.73 times, seems about right, I was launching around 3200 and slight feathering
wow nice work dude.
just throwing my car around corners and turns on the back roads around here gives me a good feel of the traction control.
It actually has a very high threshold and kicks on only at the very last minute.
I like it.

I believe Pythagoras meant for the words "lighter wheels" to be in some part of that formula.

it seems people here are confusing traction control with dynamic stability control.

How so?
Well not entirely Bani...

DSC encompasses not only the all-speed traction control, but the wheel angle sensors, EBD, and related technology.

It is essentially a very fancy term for "Traction Control"... and it definetely is nice. Here is a Mazda quote,

Dynamic Stability Control (DSC): DSC integrates the 4-wheel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Traction Control System to optimally control the engine output and 4-wheel individual brake force for side skid prevention. In addition, the system maintains stable driving conditions while cornering on slippery roads or during evasive steering to avoid hazards.

AKA... Traction Control with wheel angle sensors.
these track times are totally believable. when I had my probe Gt, I had a friend with every bolt on possible and a 60 shot of NOS, and he ran 13.7, 13.9 alot...he also had wider tires, but they were street tires with stock chrome rims. it was a bit lighter at 2920 some odd pounds but the power/weight about the same with his mods.
nice times man, at 13.9 stock that means these cars have a lot of potential to hit 12's pretty easily. In a couple weeks Im going to route66 with Tru-boost and we'll post up the time slips for you guys, were thinking he might get mid to low 13's hopefully I can hit mid 12's, well see.
