Hi, got my 3 a couple mths back and this is one of my first post here. Just a couple of pics to share. I hail from the far east.

Thanks! Looking at some coilovers now. As for calipers, not gonna do anything to them till a year later where I'll fit the Brembo caliper+rotor kits on.

There's a replacement center cover for the 3 (taiwanese make) sold over here. It's actually for a single-DIN head unit but comes with an acrylic plate with 3x52mm holes cut out.

East as in Asia, not Japan Our local version's dubbed the SP model for the 07.

Wow, those are great pics of a sweet car! I love the interior treatment; everything is very consistent and the blue accent lighting contrasts well with the overall red. The red cigarette lighter is a nice detail! The pedals are awesome too! And do the LED turn signal mirrors come standard?

What country are you located at? I'm guessing either HK or Singapore, b/c of the right hand drive?

Thanks! The red cigarette lighter's actually an air ioniser, so it's actually functional as well. The signal mirror covers are not standard, they're add-ons. Over here in Singapore, we've got lots of accessories for this car, so dressing it up isn't much of a problem. Car decoration has pretty much become a culture :lol:

How are they on aftermarket performance parts? I know a lot of Asian countries are not so much fans of performance mods..... hence the huge accessory aftermarket. Looks amazing in any event.

Performance parts account for a fair bit as well. Stuff like SC or TC kits are less common as the government here has a whole string of regulations regarding car mods. A lot of enginebay, exterior appearance and undercarriage stuff are regulated, yes

Did you get the mirror covers locally through the internet? Love the look when they are smoked.. Would like to get a set myself. VERY clean.. love it.. and soo jealous of the auto climate.. damn it want that!

I got those locally from a shop. We have lots of accessory stockists over here who carry such items. I got it smoked by pasting a layer of film over the indicator cover. They're taiwan made, if I'm not wrong.
