I did the independent fog mod according to the instructions on the forum. I noticed the other day, the fogs were staying on for like ten miniutes after I shut off the car. I opened the hood to inspect the wiring and one of the wires comming off the relay is burned and melted. Not sure if any one has any suggestions..... :?

What gauge wire are you using? The wire from the stalk can be thinner since it is only the trigger, but the power wires to and from the relay should be at least 12 gauge.

We wired a few IDFs at the NNJ meets, and everyone who used 12 guage had no problems with melting, but the ones who used smaller wire either melted wires, or the fuse panel itself.
