my dealer called and told me that they would have my car in next week. however they would be doing a trade with a dealer in the Toronto area who has my car. Well great i thought i'm gonna get my car, but then he told me that they would have to have someone drive it from there (not on a truck). Which in turn would put over 200km on the car  (mostly hwy) He said that to wait for one from Japan it would be at least another month. So i'm thinking i should just do that so i can have my car next week. Now does anyone know what things i should be more critical about since someone will be driving it?? what sorts of questions should i ask? and look for??
I had everything set cuz i thought it would be coming on a truck, but now everything has changed.

I don't know why people worry so much about having a car driven a little bit before taking ownership. I know if the driver was a complete jackass then there might be problems and it would suck if it got wrecked, but you still have a chance to check it out before you buy it. It might be good that a Mazda worker will be driving the car because if there are any problems they might catch them. Most cars are test driven a bit before anyone buys them any way. I don't know what someone could do to really screw up a car in such a short time without hitting something ( I know someone will prove me wrong though :) ). I would say you are lucky because you get the car sooner than having to order one from Japan.

my car had about 110 miles on it when i picked it up. They also started my warantee at 110 miles. Not too bad. Just inspect the car first for dents/scratches or interior blemishes. Engine will be fine.

Because people that will be driving your car will less likely to give a shit about it. They will rev the engine or slam on the brakes just for fun. But that's not always true so its your call. :p
