Hello guys,

I hope someone wise will answer this question I bought my Mazda 3 from a friend. My car has those aero flares on the front and rear bumpers both sides, but doesn't have rear lip or other kind of spoiler. My question is: does this make any difference to aerodynamic performance?? As I understand, the aero kit must be complete to perform what it has to perform. Maybe it's even worse than without flares? What would you suggest? :shock:

it won't affect your driving at all. it's a matter of personal preference. i really didn't notice my rear flares

Aero really dosn't come into play until your @ considerable speed. Since we have a front wheel drive car, downforce on the rear (as created by a spoiler) causes a lift to the front which in turn will reduce the traction. If you watch a car go down the strip w/o a spoiler, then with a spoiler, they usually lose time. You really don't need to be concerned about it except from an entirely cosmetic view.
