Don't know if anyone has brought this up yet. I was wondering where the intake placement on the short ram intake would be. Wouldn't this be pretty close to the front grill since the engine is flipped compared to the tradition FF layout? Seams to me that it would be cold air and shorter this way. Are there dynos for both kits to compare?

Has anyone found the AEM CAI any cheaper than Mazda3online or know of any group buys for CAI's?

Here I am looking at these graphs with a $1200 check sitting next to me. This is not good... I'm already looking into spring installation since my friend works for a "phantom tire buyer with a secret identity," if you know what I mean...
