The car caused quite a stir when I parked it up on the office car-park for the first time this morning. Lot's of people looking round it and it was thumbs up all round. The joys of being one of the first UK owners I have only seen one other on the road over here.

2.0L max for ALL markets except NA/Aussieland

Yep - Europe gets taxed on fuel consumption/emissions etc so most cars there do not go over 2.0L.

A bit off topic, but I heard europeens pay a "Sh#t load" for gas compared to NA consumers. That's why almost all Euro cars have the diesel engine option.

Yep, they pay about 3 times our usual canadian 70¢ to 85¢ per liter.

Hard to say why, though.

That shit is hot! I just noticed that the reflectors on the side of your rear bumper are yellow, is that a UK thing because mine are red?

Not sure on the reflector issue. Definitely yellow in the UK - possibly the rest of Europe too?

I've taken the plunge and had the Mazda stainless steel exhaust fitted. Sounds sweet now and looks much better too - more like an exhaust than a pea-shooter

I've also had the leather gear knob and handbrake trim, both in blue.

Can't wait to see the new trim, I was thinking about doing the same in red. Yours is the only car I've seen with the "sport" badge on the back, was that something your dealer did?

The Sport badge is standard on the UK 3 Sport.

AderC now that you had the car a couple of months, have you noticed any of the problems thats been posted on this board? Things like excessive brake dust on the rear wheels, paintwork chipping easily...
