has anyone here tryed putting side marker lights from like an acura or voltswgon on their car? i saw a new tsx the other day and thought it would look pretty sweet to have those lights on our cars. what do you guys think?

I haven't seen any of the mentioned lights on the cars around the forum.

these are bmw something or other markers for comparison..not sure what model thay came off of...or maybe a volvo, i can't remember...

This is something I have wondered about for a long time. I personally dont care much for the oval side marker on the 3. I really do like the ones on the Volkswagon Jetta . I think I'm going to find a set in the junkyard and try them. I just think they would look so much better. I do like these

ya those are hot. I kinda like the long skinny one on tsxs. i would like somthing without having to do any modifications except maybe the connector

I had looked into this a while ago, found a place to buy some cheap Audi side markers and never followed through... I don't mind the oval shape I just don't like the lens, I think it would look much nicer with the clear lenses like the VW/Audis

I came up with this idea a few years ago...the thread died pretty quickly tho...LOL...and beleive it or not, i only recently aquired the passenger side lamp, but it's missing the rubber gasket

This is what I was thinking of, I like the look of the clear lens vs the diffuser style lens of the stock mazda side marker.
