May I ask how to know your car is VIN4 or VIN3? Thanks

What exactly are you looking for? Really need to know the context. Or can you give us an example of where you saw this?

1st digit in Vin is Country of origin / where it was made. 3 would be Mexico, 5 is one of several for the US. J is Japan.

Engine code is the 8th digit.

Year code is 8th digit from the last. A 3 would a 2003. A 4 would 2004.

So I tried to search up like car part, like the engine, it said vin 4 MZR or Vin 3 MZR

I meant to say 4 is of the US country codes.

That sounds like it is asking for an engine code... look at the 8th digit in the VIN
