It's not actually a different style, but I remember talking about this with some of the NNJ Folks a while back. Apparently there was a design change with at least the 17" rim. It didn't change the appearance of it, but there is a small lip or something on the inside of the rim that you have to look for to notice. I believe they changed it mid year for some reason....
