By the way this is on a Mazdaspeed3 GT with Bose, no Nav.

I'm trying to put together what i want on my Speed3 and one of the only things that annoys the hell out of me(And allot of you from reading the posts), is the lack of MP3 CD. I've read there is a 6CD Changer that can play MP3's as an option, My question is where does this changer go? Does it replace the non-mp3 one in the dash or does it go in hatch or somewhere? Also if I pay the 400+ dollars for this option, will it show mp3 track info(ID3 Tags) on the info screen above the radio and do I have full control with the wheel controls to scroll folder and tracks? I know this info is somewhere, I just haven't seen exactly the correct thing I'm trying to do. I know allot of you think 400 is way to much for this option with an ipod jack, but I have so many mp3 cd's and I like to have that option, when the AuxMod Advanced is available, then I will go fully Ipod, but who knows how much longer that will be.

Ok, I see it goes into the dash and just replaces the Cd player in there and adds mp3 capabilitys. Ok one thing I couldn't find is, Will it show the DISK info (ID3 Tags) on Info Screen?

Yes. the left knob lets you scroll the title and look at the tags.

This wont make any changes for the worse correct? It will just add mp3 ability to my cd's? Can I use the wheel to control?

yeah they should have them on the left side of the steering wheel. It will have volume, mode, mute, and song switching.

I was thinking about the MP3 option myself. cuz it kinda sucks if you have a mp3 player hidden under the arm rest hookedup to the aux port you cant change music at will.. cuz you have to pull it out.. and then change and put it back in.. bla bla blah..

i may consider that 400 buck switch.. unless there is a way to hook up a portable dvd player and place the IR connecter in a remote location to control the music..
