1. Are you supposed to disengage the clutch while shifting into neutral from any other gear because it seems like there is no resistance if I just shift into neutral at anytime, but I don't know if thats good for the transmission or whatever.

2. While stationary and with the car in neutral, I slowly brought the engine up to 3000rpm and back down to idle at 750rpm. It seemed like there was slightly more vibration in the engine at right about 2000rpm and at 750rpm, but you have to listen very close. Is that normal and just some a resonance in the engine at certain speed?
