what size tires should I get because recently I got OEM speed3 springs installed and he suggested I should go for the 50 series tires and alot of rx8 wheel owners say to get the 40 series. Im stuck! HELP!

That what I was thinking if I went 50.
My oem speed3 springs only lowered my 3 about .5 inches so Im kinda confused on what to get. well eventually when the time comes of course

Do not use a 50 series, too tall a sidewall. a 225/50 would be 7% too big. Thats massive. You'd have to go to a 185/50R18 to get within 1% of stock. That's a size that doesn't even exist.

thats what i was thinking cuz i had 225 45 and i rubbed like crazy... my car is lowered but not drastically

Will 45s rub...Im on stock...I have the RX8s sitting in my garage...and they have 225/45/18 on them...so dont know what to do...the car is exactly 2 weeks old and susp is bone stock....let me know if anyone has any experience.
I'm running 225/45 Bridgestone Potenza S03's on RX8's and I only rub in the back if there are two people in the back seats and I take a corner really fast, it'll rub for a split second if I hit a bump going through the corner. It only happened once when I was going about 70 and took a right hand bend on a highway. And that's lowered with Eibachs.

Awesome Thanks you gave me the info I wanted....Cant wait to put them on.....only prob is I live in Toronto...so cant put em on till the snow is gone......But I had them balanced when I was picking them up and they looked good....
