they will do the job, however, your speedo will be off by ~6%. It will be off in a direction that will keep you out of trouble though. You will also have shorter gearing (more revs/mph), and more wheel gap. no reason to throw those tires out, I'd wear them out, and replace them with 215/45's when it comes time to replace the tires.

if you hate wheel gap, you'll want to get 215/50 or 225/45's instead, as 215/45 still increases wheel gap over stock 17's by about .22 inches. 215/50 will reduce it by .19" over stock, 225/45 will be about the same as stock.

I have 215's with 17x7's and 225's will decrease wheel gap. The 215's are close to stock but show alot more gap stock than the oem wheels.

With 17x7 Armano GT5:

yeah, I've got 215/45's and I love them, I plan on getting the exact same size when its time for me to replace them. Sure, wheel gap is a little bigger than stock, but the steering response is incredible, and the gearing advantage is nice, and how much will you really notice an extra .22" of wheel gap, esp if you have plans of lowering it (I don't, but judging by your SN, I'm guessing you do)

I am dropped with TEIN S-techs ..
I think I'll go 215/45 ..

the 225 is too wide and will be too bulky on 7inch wheels ...

I'm in the minority when I say this, but GOOD CHOICE. IMO 215 is perfect for a 7" wheel, 225 is perfect for a 7.5" wheel
