My brand new Mazda3 Sport Premium is very very easily scratched! The glossy black areas, plastic over the instrument panel and basically anything shiny, are already scratched. I’m so disappointed! I clean gently and had none of these problems with my 2012. Is it a quality issue?? Does anyone have any suggestions on how to minimize the scratches? I’m really particular about my car and it’s really bothering me.

The only thing I can think of is applying a few layers of clear coat to your "high touch" trim pieces.

Or use some ceramic coating on them but you'll have to put it on thick and reapply after some time.
