My car has recently developed a buzz in one of the small rear speakers. It only buzzes during audio with high treble so I'm not sure if it's blown or has some other problem. Has anyone else had this issue and what did you do to fix it? Photos of the offending speaker.

That in most cases is either the amp or the speaker. The easier to test for you (DIY) is swap the left to the right speaker temporarily and see if the noise goes away.

Thanks, I should've included that I have used the tuner to try and locate which speaker was buzzing. On the tuner controls you can hear buzzing in every position except for full left and full right, which I believe are door speakers. The buzzing is more pronounced the farther right you adjust the tuner. Looking in the trunk there is a single large speaker and three of these smaller ones. Two smaller ones on the right side and one on the left. Just by pressing your ear up to them you can hear that it is the smaller of the two right speakers.

edit: sorry I misread your initial reply. That sounds like a good idea I was digging around trying to access the speakers earlier this afternoon and after pulling out all the pushpins in the rear plastic behind the seats I couldn't figure out what else has to be removed in order to access the speakers. Is there an instructional video you know of somewhere? All the ones I've been able to find only have disassembly walkthroughs to access the door speakers.

I have a 2022 Mazda3 2.5 Turbo with just over 7000 miles on it. The right rear speaker is buzzing already and all I listen to are news podcasts or occasionally the Sirius bluegrass channel. I’m thinking there is always going to be something with this car.

Read the complete thread up to this point again. Suggestions have been posted on how to determine fault.
Apologies to the OP for following up on this post. But "2022 Mazda3 2.5 Turbo with just over 7000 miles"? Warranty? "I’m thinking there is always going to be something with this car." Really? And you paid how much for this car? Rhetorical. Mine went back (3 times) for a cruise control issue that many people would not even have noticed until they finally fixed it. They will fix yours too. But they won't know the problem exists unless you bring the car to them.

Yes the warranty covered the repair but the idea that a brand new car needed $4400 of work is unforgivable. They told me a “faulty factory part” was the culprit. It still RATTLES. I’ve seen on here that a lot of Mazda owners have rattling issues with their vehicles, even newer ones. I’m still under 10k miles and still woefully regret this purchase. The service from the dealer is equally unacceptable. When the large repairs were made, I had to take the car back because they left a splash guard barely hanging on, as well as failing to put other pins and small pieces back on the car. I mean, stop me when any of this makes sense!
I mean, stop me
STOP!

Honestly most of your responses on a few threads repeat basically the same thing which just complaining ....
It reads anymore like a record skip in the same groove of a song.
And IMHO you are now taking over another member's thread with your Mazda's problems?

Please for the love of Pete just sell your car and move on to something else that you like better. Your repetitive harping on the same issue in multiple threads is beyond tiresome. Sure your car has had issues and you are justified in being upset about it, but you are beating this into the ground.
