hello everyone. I just bought a 2013 Mazda 3 and I am very happy with the car except that the washer pump does not work. I checked several things. I checked the pump. I tested the connector at the pump and had no power with the column wiper switch engaged. I checked all the related fuses in the car and under the hood. I did find in the under hood fuse box a 20 amp fuse for the wiper/washer. When I removed the fuse though it appears that the terminal was pushed out of the back of the fuse box. Does this happen? Do any of you have knowledge I could use to either fix the terminal or run a new set of wires to the pump from a point that is fused? I am an electrician by trade so I know a little about circuits but cars are an entirely different beast. Oh, and one more thing I forgot to mention is that the wipers DO work and I tested the column switch and it is good. Is there anything like a relay that I am missing? Thanks! Any help is appreciated.
