Welcome to the forum

Dash vibrations have been a around in vehicle dating all the way back to the 1970's. Some were factory covered under warranty but the highest percentage are things created simply owning and driving the vehicle for a while. Time to start pushing pulling and carefully listening to exactly were the vibration is coming from. Most of the time simply adding a little wedge of foam or other material stuffed careful under the dash can cure the problem.
If you are an Audiophile, then like most of us suffer from nonmusical sounds and door and dash vibrations that drive us crazy until cured.

It’s hard to tell exactly where it’s coming from cuz it only makes the noise while driving. I hit the dash all over the place but it won’t stop. It’s just annoying as hell that’s all other than that the car runs great.

Never heard of a dash vibration on the 2010-11 3 until now - If you find out the issue please share ! I remember issues with the 2010-11 dash but it was related to the dash literally melting on hot days - It was made of some synthetic material which was designed to be soft enough to allow the passengar side air-bag to easily tear it open - I can see a faint X over the glove box where its located - Did the vibration just start or was it always like that ? Is it a sedan or a hatchback ? - The sedan came with a 2.0 or a 2.5 - Whats the mileage ? Did you ever have an accident ?-Is it a manual or automatic transmission ?
I get a slight vibration in my 2.5 HB / but I think its pretty common that it does so when idiling at a stop with my foot on the brake - automatic trans - but it never kills and goes away right after I lift off the brake -

It’s a Mazda 3 4 cylinder sedan 2.0 liter. It has 126k miles on it n I bought it 6 months ago. It’s a rattle up by the windshield n also over by the passenger side like above the glove box I think.

Vibration in and on dashboards and even the pillars, plastic steering wheel cowling instrument panels are common and often a service-related concern in shops and dealerships on I would guess most every common produced daily driver. But I can understand some thinking they are not common. Not everything is posted on forums and the internet! ;)

If you start pressing and or having someone assist in finding the vibrations in the dash while the Mazda is being driving I am sure you will find the source and it will be a fairly simple fix!

The vibration your speaking of I believe is like mine, in drive foot on break once release brake it goes away. Vibration is more of a rough idle, well mine was, there is a vacuum leak at the back of the brake booster( big metal disk shaped thing on driver side or on the pcv valve between black intake manifold and the engine block. Fix >> replace hose &/or the plastic connector on brake booster. In the case of pcv valve replace valve (most likely have to remove intake manifold to access) I just replace both while I was at it. Youll notice a huge increase in fuel economy back to where it normally should be.
If your not an experienced mechanic I STRONGLY recommend bringing it to someone who is. These aren't easy fixes and if you don't know what your doing the outcome will be disastrous.
Good luck and safe travels

Appreciate that tip ! - No I have never fiddled with the master cylinder / pvc or booster - I have all the tools and an OE svcs manual - but ....Past experiences with brakes required 2 people to get the air bubbles out - etc etc - and know it can be done solo - but I heed your warning and will cough up the dough if it appears to be in need-
Thanks again - !
