WOW. A blown engine at 150 miles. Makes me seriously leary of those STi's I was looking at.

that is like barely 3-4 days of driving for me.... 0_0

yikes.... my Subaru engine in the 1987 Sugaru GL Station wagon didn't start having problems until 80k miles.... then again it only had 92 horsepower so... lol..

Thats crazy. It makes the occasional smoking turbo look like nothing.

there cars are still very popular and selling very well. I guess this isn't enough of a blemish to take away that title.

from what I understand cylinder #4, oil starvation, defective rod bearings and incredibly poor tune have been the winning culprits thus far.

STi's have been having this issue since the GR came out. I was looking at a wrx for my next, think I'll hold off and take a serious look at the speed or gti.
