Charger SE & Avenger R/T - only way to get the same engine. Avenger SE has a 4-cylinder only....thats why I compared them as similarly equipped as possible.

You also forgot that one is larger than the other. Also, one is RWD and one is FWD. Two totally different vehicles for two different drivers.

I guess my point was, R/T and SE aside, they're nearly identically equipped, one larger than the other and yet they're the same price. What motivation does one have to buy the Avenger when you can have the Charger for the same money? It just struck me as odd.

I Agree, I'd take an all black charger in that case although it is cool to see the avenger back again, the older ones could handle boost because of the mitsubishi DSM motor/block.

Chrylser is in trouble and seems to be trying hard after the 300/magnum/charger debuts, the new avanger and sebring seem to bring some promise.

oh ok I saw one on route 80 lol. So the new ones aren't like the chick/woman convertibles of the past like my mother had? That was a nice car for what it was and she did get over 100K from it before selling it to a young girl.

Nope, I don't really look closely at dodges, never seen the interior of the caliber, I have seen that new small SUV of theirs while passing a dealer near me though, I forget the name of it, but it doesn't catch my eye either.

I hope they produce the Hornet (Dodge). anyone heard anything about production on that one? I actually think Chrysler is one of the few American auto companies that seems to be trying at all. Ford and Chevy are boring as hell nowdays.

1 downward spiraling company + 1 downward spiraling company does not equate to success. I prefer most Dodges to most GMs so it'll only further sink the brand, imo.
