We bought a 2007 Mazda3 GT last night. In Mica Grey (I believe is the colour name).

We we're looking for a 2nd car to supplement our 2010 Subaru Impreza 2.5i (automatic :undecided, and we test drove this one after test driving a 2010 Mazda3 GS, and we definitely preferred the old Mazda3 vs the newer one, and the price and mileage was right, so we bought it.

It only has 68,000kms (42,000 miles), and its still under an extended Mazda warranty until April next year. The car is in almost perfect condition (except for a few small rust bubbles that we noticed on the roof, no other rust that we could find).

Nothing major for mods... currently reading up on the TB ground and the Buddy Club Condenser's... will probably end up doing one or the other. Also planning on an SRI, upgraded speakers and a small powered sub (something like the Infinity Basslink).

Going to figure out what to do about the rust soon, either grind it off and try to match the paint as closely as possible, or just saturate the area in rust proofing chemicals...

Check my build thread if you want to mod your stock airbox into something approaching an SRI. Just depends if you like to inker/hate to spend money or if you'd rather just buy and install.

I used to tinker alot on older cars I had ('91 Civic Si, 94 Integra, etc.), but with the lack of time in my life now, I'd rather just buy parts instead of modifying existing parts. Thanks for the info though, I will check out your thread!
