I have recently noticed that sometimes when shifting from 1st to 2nd (or back), there is a slight noise that sounds kind of like a scraping or ripping. This is the first car that I have ever had that has made this type of weird noise during shifting. It doesn't matter whether it is during normal driving or if I am just sitting in my driveway going thru the gears....it makes this noise. Its not loud nor does it seem to be doing anything to the transmission...its just annoying and weird.

Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone know what is causing this?
