I keep looking for how to time this beast, and cannot find out how to time it once I've swapped the entire head. Yeah, timing pin on the crank, got it. Alignment tool on the end of the cams, great. Now: What position should the gears that attach the cam to the rest of the engine be in? (the one the timing chain goes around). Everything I've found says to use the marks you made when you removed it...I have an entirely new cyl head with new cams. Now what?!?!?! Looking for the miracle of information here, gang. Please?

I don't believe there is a specific position. The cams don't have a keyway for the gears so they could end up in any position after the bolts are torqued down.

well that would be music to my ears. (If I'd said it out loud...). I'll look again at this and see if that, after all my hunting and poking around is what I've been waiting for. THANK you!
