What do they look like? Are they chrome like the Australian version or black like in the sales brochure? Any way you can hook up another TO resident without having to go through the dealer?

Just received 3 boxes of them. They never came with the cars when they were shipped because they were backordered. So they are now available right now only for those who purchased a 2.3. Your dealer will contact you.

I just spoke with my dealer (I'm due for my 4 months maintenance) and he told me he just received the 2.3L badges and they have to install it for free. I asked him about a charge and he told me that Mazda Canada instructed them to install them free of charge at Delivery or at the first maintenance.

Looks like I'll be getting free stickers! I tried to get the stickers for the alarm system and they refused to give them to me (wanted them to put on after I get the windows tinted).
At least these stickers will add HP to my car! I'm thinking a 5-10HP gain.

All GT's come with the clears, GFX or not.
False. The First Canadian batch of Mazda3's GT (w/o GFX) came with RED taillights. This is a fact, proven by a user of the M3Q Club.
First batch?? Does that mean subsequent ones are eqipped with clear tials...? *confused*
Yes. The Second and third (and so on) batches of GT's without GFX are equiped with clear taillights. In Canada though.
Sorry to bring this topic back to life but I heard that some GT without GFX does NOT get Clear taillights?? Can anybody check this out?

We have no such thing as a GFX package up here. The ground effect all come standard on the GT here. In fact everything is standard except the below:

There is so much rice and BS on this site it makes me sick. I just thought I would make one last post to set the record straight.
You can tell the real M3 owners, they are too busy out driving to be in here! Thats where I have been (and will be)

The GT looks almost identical to a GS from outside. The only clues are the new 2.3 badges (which I got installed on mine since last night, thanks to the mechanic) and standard fog lights (not the round ones; the ones you can get on the GS as an option).
GT sedans have the Sport interior, but those taillights are red, Frank.

Anyway, i don't think the 2.3 emblem looks cool at all esp here in NA.
IN the eastern hemisphere(not western) their gas prices are high, their normal cars have only 1.5L or even down to 1L for most of them.
so in a way when u get a 2.3L/3.0 or whatever, that seems very big engine already.
Whereas here in NA, 2.3? thats just nothing!! we get 3.0L normal and there's so many 4.2Ls or whatever the engine sizes might be.
So u put it on as if thinking u have a 2.3!! oh wow that's COOL....HELL NO!!
if the dealership insisting on giving me it anyway, i'll just make it a keychain like the other guy in the other thread

Did I buy it for the "cool" factor, no. Did I buy it so people will know I have a 2.3? No again.. I bought it because I thought it looked nice and made a nice addition to my car.

stokkes you've changed my opinion about the badges on the doors (I have an orange HB). I was thinking of putting one of them on the rear hatch, but now, who knows...
