wonder how his clutch is holding out....?
impressive though. I cant pull off much better than that in a 265rwhp, 2600lb datsun z.

a sign of good things to come :)

the track is a bit south of Montreal, could this have possibly occurred during the cold weather?
all I can glean from the slip is tuesday's and thursdays 19
the info says it was modified 1/7 so I wonder when he ran this.

well i am pretty sure u crancked that boost controler pretty high.

13s is a def 300WHP

must have been indoors :)....it's been -30 consistently here for weeks. and montreal is ccccccccold.
not sure how one could hook up on a track at any temps below 0 to be honest.
I kind of expected bigger hp numbers with a turbo/boost/etc etc upgrade....

so he has done this race in january or before....

but i dont think all those parts were out in december?

Should be easy enough to work around, no? Granted, I don't know a thing about these ECUs, but clamp the MAP sensor and run an extra injector controller? That would be one crude way around it all. And there's gotta be better ways

[/quote]What happens if you just slap the upgraded turbo on? Nothing right? You need to raise the boost 2 more psi? I guess you need to run the xede to do this or does the stock ecu work?

Saw this earlier in January. I guarantee that the car's running horribly, unless he has some prototype ECU tuning device accompanying all those hardware upgrades. Y'all already know this, but the ECU is the heart of any setup. A factory tune would simply not support a larger turbo (which by the way is a pretty significant jump...k04 -> GT30 and 2 more psi.

And the trap, 103mph...HORRIBLE for a car that's supposedly putting down that much power.

Of course, this is all based on what's available on that page, so I'll reserve any other thoughts for later, if any more info is discovered.

From his page he is making over 300WHP with an upgraded turbo and some kind of fuel managment (never heard of it tho)

I agree, u could run a larger turbo, but the car would run like crap, and he's probelmy leaning out REALLY bad, w/out ECU and fuel upgrades.

But he could be a test car for sumwhere, that hasn't release thier product yet either. Even the MS6 guys haven't found a way around the fuel cut off yet.

clamping the MAP sensor is a idea, but VERY CRUDE.


or sum1 is lying bout thier numbers........
