Hey all,
Just curious if running 110 octane (Cam 2) fuel in the MS3 will do any harm?

ya it will blow up the motor and make it so powerfull that the axles snap, it shouldnt do anything detrimental, but it would probly be a wast of money, but heck if you got the change to spare put 5 gals. in and tell us how it feels.

you can run any octane above 91 as long as it is not leaded !! the ecu shoule be able to adjust for thr fuel by making fuel/timing adj.
I would think it may take a tank or two for the ecu to fully adjust to a higher octane level fully on its own. The car may make use of it faster if you reset the ecu when you fillup.
I'm no expert, but I always heard that running race gas in cars with catalytic converters is a bad idea...

Thats for leaded gas. Unleaded high octane is safe to use.
I have never heard of 110 octane that isn't leaded. Been to many gas stations and race tracks that sold race gas, and every time I've see race gas sold, it came in two forms, 100 unleaded and 110 leaded. Leaded gas won't hurt the engine, it just damages the cats, and so if you gut them, then you can run it, say nothing of the environment. On a side note, there is absolutely no reason to run race gas unless you've tuned the engine for it. These engines runs so rich, I doubt the ECU can adjust to race gas to run more efficiently or give additional power without a tune.
