Noob Question. I've searched the forums and I've gathered on later models that the stock boost should be around 15 psi. I have an 09 GT with an HKS BOV and I'm topping out at 12 psi. I thought it might be the BOV, so I put the stock BOV back on with the same results. Is there something wrong wit the car or is 12 psi correct?

what gear are you seeing 12psi in and how are you measuring it (boost gauge, dashhawk etc.)?

i know in the lower gears boost is a bit limited to help with traction, in 3rd up you should be seeing 15.6ish or so......

check all your clamps especially the turbo inlet clamp that is on the turbo... that thing is always loose and the culprit for many peoples issues...

good luck and keep us updated

No parts were taken off the top except the cover. I have a Elec. Prosport Boost Gauge. Everything else is stock.

More than half of my daily driving is highway. This is my first turbo toy so I'm a little heavy on the gas.
