Just bought 06 Mazda 3 2.0 serpentine belt broke took with it the crank shaft positioning sensor I change the belt change the sensor put a top dead center place the sensor on the fifth tooth but still no start I lined up the timing marks camshaft timing is right on crankshaft timing is right on replace the camshaft positioning sensor and still no start so I’m throwing money at the problem I changed out all the coil packs still no start it’s getting fuel it’s getting spark but still no start any thing I’m missing and checked the fuses
Was new from auto zone replaced it with another from autozone still the same when I adjusted crank sensor tdc alined with the 5 tooth one the ring as it should it doesn’t look damaged I will figure out how to check The alignment and get back to you
Were the plugs wet with fuel when you removed them? If there was no fuel on them, I suggest spraying a small bit of sensor safe starter fluid or carb cleaner into the intake, just to confirm it will not start and run on outside fuel.
just wondering if the harmonic balancer outer section slipped and now your timing is no longer correct
double check top dead centre still aligns with timing mark
Visually pulled plugs all at once kept them connected to the coils grounded a price of steel turned it over and what he’d then spark in the correct firing order same with the injectors unless they are out of sink with each other and that would be ?
