friend gave me a 06 M3 2.0i but told me that it needs a timing belt. lol. come to find out it requires a chain. So im questioning the entire story of the timing being broken. the check engine blinks 7 times if thats a thing. and I watched a timing chain replacement video and the guy actually started his mazda before replacing timing chain. i read that the motor would be damaged if i tried to start it. what do I do folks?
