05 Monte Carlo Not starting.
Last night my Dad's 05 Monte Carlo would not start last night while at McDonald's. It had full power.
None of the lites dimmed when trying to start. No clicks or anything.
Then after moving the gear shift from park to 1 a few times. Then it started.
So we are thinking that it's the Neutral safety switch in console.
Of course this is after calling our Neighbor to come take us home.
Has anyone had to replace this or know how hard it is.
So the next step is to start tearing the car apart to get to the switch.
