I guess it will be around 7.5 for the 2.3L !

In the "L'Annuel de l'automobile 2004" they say it does the 0-100km in 9 sec. for the 2,3l. Dont forget the motor has been detuned to accept our low grade fuel. And also, the car is heavy.

Duval have tried the 2.0L model of the 3... Not sure if he did the 0-100 test though.

anything is better than Honda Civic's acceleration of 0-100 in 36 seconds.

well, the new civic coupe's run about mid 8s to low 9s 0-60 depending on the mods and the driver.
the civic si/sir runs about high 7s to mid 8s.

i hope the gt 2.3L can take the si/sir. the weight is basically the same, but the gt has more torque.

The PRO's pretty good and the Maxi is a V6 so it's not bad, but it has no steering feel. Hope the 3 is decent in that respect.

I really think a MT sedan couold sqeak a high 7 sec. It has the same torque as the Mazda Speed with only 10 less hp. Sure it probably weighs more but still.......hope I am right.

No they don't have the same torque
- Mazda3 2.3L: 150 [email protected]
- MSP: 160 [email protected]

The MSP is a real monster, according to those who drive it. When you look at the torque curves, the MZR 2.3L is barely better than the MZR 2.0L.
